Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Teen sim had a nightmare after aging up from a child. Continues to experience negative moodlet even when wants and fears are turned off. Tried using the fear be gone potion but does not work because the actual fear is not present. Sim can also have the confident moodlet from environment or potion and still have the negative afraid of the dark moodlet.
What happens when the bug occurs? Teen sim gets the “Afraid of the Dark” moodlet when outside even during the day.
What do you expect to see? Sim will no longer get negative moodlet when related fear is not present. Sims age teen and older will not experience “Afraid of the Dark” from Fear of the Dark.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I always tried to cure fears when they came up because they just annoyed me. I had two child sims at the time and both got the afraid of the dark fear. My other sim who is now a teen never gets the negative moodlet.
my problem sim is now a young adult and I’m still having the same issue
