@DarthAltoids Did you turn the wants/fear off after they got the fear or before ?

Did you try to cure the fear before turning them off at all ?

I always tried to cure fears when they came up because they just annoyed me. I had two child sims at the time and both got the afraid of the dark fear. My other sim who is now a teen never gets the negative moodlet.

my problem sim is now a young adult and I’m still having the same issue

There is no fix for this, had to delete my sim and re add them. This fear is just fully bugged.
