I'm having the same issue right now with the daughter of the Tinker family (she's a teen living emancipated with her girlfriend, not a little kid anymore). I have wants and fears turned off and have had for a long time. She also has the Brave Trait. I'm on PS4 so there are no mods involved, and I also can't use any mods to fix it. After she moved to the new Lot, the Fear of the Dark Moodlet showed up at 8am for no reason, and she doesn't have Fear of the Dark in her Simology panel.

I didn't experience this until after this last "hotfix" TODAY, Aug 8th. Unbelievable! I need a new game to play.
