My Sim got interrupted while cooking - and now she has a frying pan permanently stuck to her hand... She sleeps/eats/cooks/everything with it on her hand... it can't be comfortable!! This is not the first sim who has ended up with something stuck to their hand. I think one of my sims got chopsticks (or something that looks like them) stuck to her hand as well... I tried doing resetsim - but that didn't work... It doesn't go away when my sim showers or changes clothes... I am using Windows 8 - and have no custom content. Thanks.

I FOUND A FIX!!!!!!! Just click a dresser and select 'plan outfit'. Fixed my sim. Hope it removes the fork for you too!

It's pretty easy to recreate this bug. It's still present. 1. Have a sim play the Horseshoe pit.2. When the sim has a horseshoe in it's hand, open the build mode.3. Delete the horseshoe pit.4. Observe the sim.Actual result: The sim has a horseshoe stuck in it's hand.Whenever an object that a sim can hold is linked to another object. Most of the time when the sim hold one while the linked object is deleted the object will remain the sim's hand. This issue will remain in the game until they implement a line of code that says to "verify if sim has something in it's hand that does not belong" and flush it.

@SimLibby I moved it in here as it's more appropriate. The other issue is specifically about the ambrosia not doing what it's supposed to do. Also unsure if it's still an issue. It does sound a bit different than all the other stuck objects issues as it goes away on it's own.

Maybe the thread title doesn't invoke a mental image of the error I encountered, so let me provide some details.First off I was at my sim's house standing by the fridge after I request he eat a serving of ribs (contained in said fridge). My sim pulled the food from the fridge and began to eat. Only his plate hand was empty and his "fork" hand had the plate of food attached to it. So, with plate attached, he went through the motions of eating. This bug continued even after he finished (empty plate), threw away extra food (he was full), and went to wash the plate in the sink. After that the bug ended as the plate was gone.I was unable to replicate the bug, but I did snap a few screenshots and saved them in my "memories". It was a pretty funny bug to watch.

@KahliNN That happens from time to time. Take your Sim to CAS or go traveling and it should go away

My sim currently has a fork stuck in his hand. I have tried resetsim but it did not help. Will there be a patch to help with this glitch?

Thank you! This fixed it and also the skill meter being stuck over my sims head too. Let's hope patch 3 corrects more of these glitches!

Going traveling should get rid of it.

It's common. Also with forks.

For me, simply saving and restarting the game did the trick.
Sometimes it's the simple solution that works 🙂

not an entirely serious bug but my sim is supposed to be eating scrambled eggs. i thought they looked odd so zoomed in & he was eating his cell!

upon washing the dish it turns out his cell is stuck to his hand. i think something similar to this has already been posted.
