[ARCHIVED] Sims have tutorial aspirations in normal gameplay

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.76.81.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything but Paranormal pack and the kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Check the aspirations of Sims in the world during regular gameplay.
What happens when the bug occurs? My current household and random Sims in game have tutorial aspirations in regular gameplay. I am not playing through the tutorial.
What do you expect to see? I expect my Sims to have regular aspirations and not ones exclusive to tutorial mode.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. June 29th patch

So, this appeared randomly. I have played the same save file for the last three (sim) generations and now Sims are being randomly generated with tutorial aspirations. I noticed it when I moved a Sim into my household and he had the "Chef" aspiration. I've tested my game without mods, but these tutorial-exclusive aspirations keep appearing.

    I've seen this that if you edit an NPC in CAS, you'll see them having tutorial aspirations, once I even saw an NPC with the secret grilled cheese aspiration. But I don't think this is an issue! It's super easy to change if you want to and I thought it was kind of fun to sometimes see those. I've only ever played the tutorial once and if I were to take one of those townies into my family I'd be happy to try out playing the tutorial aspiration. This gives more variety to the townies, seeing that I often feel like we're very much lacking in aspirations. It's a great feature, please don't remove it! :D

    I can't honestly say I don't see this as an issue - it's something that isn't supposed to be there. Sure it's an easy fix, but EA should still know what's going on, otherwise, it'll all go to that bad place in a handbasket.

    @SimGuruNick The advance_age module found in aging_mixin.py doesn't exclude FTUE aspirations at all, only hidden/unlockable and age-inappropriate ones.

     can someone explain how an NPC has this aspiration? It is not one of my aspirations to choose from.

    @Ashcat1216 I merged your post with the main thread on this issue. This is a Tutorial aspiration and shouldn't appear in normal game play.

    I don't own the pack with that aspiration, nor does it show up in CAS. I never even played the Spencer-Kim-Lewis household, so I don't know how this happened.
