Going to lock this thread as it doesn't have the new bug template and has become a bit of a mess.
Just make a new thread if you still have this issue occurring WITHOUT MODS.
After the newest updats and the download of the Holiday pack, my in game experience has been buggy. Whenever my sims go to work and come back it still says they are at work and I am unable to access my sim's inventory and have even had a bug where my bills were stuck in my sim's inventory and was unable to pay them. Need help please!!!

I moved another sim in and they were able to pay the bills...but the original sim never has the option..any fixes on that?
Do you only have the pay bill issue or the Sims staying grey after work ?

I'm sorry if this has been answered, but I have the same problem with the Sim being stuck in "at work" mode after arriving home. I have to make them travel somewhere or use the dresser to plan a outfit to fix the bug. It does come back after going to work the next time though. Could this problem be related to the bug where my Sim can't get promoted? I even tried to use the cheat for promotion but it does nothing. I have played through many bugs over the years but this one will make me go back to Sims 3.
