Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I guess have a child sim age up on their own? I really don't know.
What happens when the bug occurs? My child sim auto-aged from a child to a teen, then to a young adult almost instantly.
What do you expect to see? I expect my child sim to age to a teen and remain a teen for a while before aging any further.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I have not had mods in my game in a long time and I have never seen this. It might be related to the glitch I had where the child sim in question aged to a teen and the game crashed, but that was a few days ago and I have had to replay hours to get back here. I don't know if that is the issue or not, but I wanted to mention it because it crossed my mind.
I would guess that this is caused by random aging in the game. As in, in an unmodded game, when a sim generates or ages up, they don't (usually) age up to zero days in their new life stage. So a teen might appear with 1 day gone or 13 days gone (and would then age up again soon).
Like the old bug where an elder comes out of CAS and then dies immediately.
