Hello. My sims that I've spent literal weeks raising from a baby into a young adult just aged up.. and none of his trait sparked. I have the parent game play and raised his stats to have responsibility, manners, and empathy.. and now all that hard work is gone. Please fix this.
My vampire-alien hybrid had the same problem, but I thought it was because of overall hybrids' buggy state.
I would be really mad if this bug happened to my sim that I carefully played with from its first steps. It's so time-consuming and you get nothing in reward??
I had the same experience in vanilla game. My sim was a normal sim but her mother was a vampire. In my case, no Alien blood involved. She didn't get the third trait and reward traits of Character Values which she was supposed to have Good Manners, Responsible and Emotional Control. When the teen sim became YA, I didn't get any jingles, notifications or trait selection screens. She just entered the next life stage in silence without those traits. I just noticed that later on her Simology panel.

My male teenager has max responsibility and I think empathy, but when he blew out the candles he did not get them or even a pick of the third trait for becoming an adult. This save game even has him and siblings stuck in school until about 4:30. Clicking on them to skip school to get them to leave does not work. I just have to wait until it is about 4:30 for them to get home. I don't mind that to much but the aging without getting the third trait for adulthood or the bonus ones from the parenthood means I will not save my game until it gets fixed. This is sad for me since the save is one for my accidental time traveller legacy and I am around 3rd or 4th generation. So I put in a lot of hours into this save game.

you can always cheat the trait. It's not really cheating as you've earned it.
Since this hasn't been reprod' it might be a long wait otherwise.
Is your Sim an alien ? Did it only happen to the one that was at school at the time ?

My teen is human. His great-grandmother was an alien/vampire hybrid but she married a normal male. And since it was part of a legacy challenge only used the non-vampire descendents to continue and by this teen's time all descendents are human with no alien or vampire looks to them. As for the school, it was the first time since the patch that I played. So I was not expecting that, I know they never get home directly at 3 but shortly after but never until 4;30. Plus clicking on the children to leave school after 3, asks if you want the kids to skip school and I say yes but nothing happens until 4;30. Thank you for taking an interest @crinrict. I know at times after a patch so things can go wrong at times. A different save a couple of patches ago had my aliens loosing their disguises, which was latter fixed. I was just curious if others all of a sudden had this happen after the patch or if I was alone in this.

my sim has just aged up to an adult and she had earned on the range for responsibility, manners, empathy but these traits did not show up on her info panel. I have re-done her birthday 3 times and the same thing happened. anyone can help?
The same thing happened to her brother but I was not actively playing on that family when this happened (I have 3 households I switch between from the same family) which is somewhat understandable and expected--- although this should be fixed especially for us #generation players that have multiple households to manage! :#

Hi!! I had a similar issue with the parenthood game pack
my sim has just aged up from teen to young adult and she did not receive the traits she was in range for that came with parenthood (empathy, manners, etc). I have re done her birthday 3 times and nothing seems to work.
More similar to the issue at steak, this sim's brother when aged up I was not playing on his active household and so he did not earn any of these traits either, I thought it was just because this was not the active household (something I think should be fixed if this is the case!)
I will try your solution of manually adding the traits @crinrict ! Hopefully it will work
if not, any solution?

I am having the same problem! This is the first time I am aging a teen into young adult after getting the Parenthood pack. My teen is only in range for the responsibility trait, and he got the trait upon turning into a young adult, but I did not get the selection screen to pick a third trait. I solved the problem by enable cas.fulleditmode and pick the third trait from the CAS screen. However, I shouldn't need to cheat to get the third trait. Please fix the bug!
By the way, I am running a vanilla game, no mod or cc.
