[ARCHIVED] The Sims 4 - Customizable Pronouns Thread.
Sul sul,
Today, we are introducing the latest base game update for The Sims 4, and with it the ability to set customizable pronouns for each of your Sims.
We want you, our Simmers, to know that this update is especially important to us because we know it's important to you; this is why we've taken steps like partnering with GLAAD and the It Gets Better Project organizations to make sure that our goal of equal representation is implemented in the best way possible.
Ultimately, we recognize that while this update has been thoroughly tested, there may be areas where your customizable pronouns aren't being applied correctly. This dedicated thread has been created so you have a place to let us know about these instances. If you're running into a situation where the pronouns you selected are not being correctly applied, please use the following template so we can investigate properly.
- Which pronouns are you using?
- Where are they not being applied?
- Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Update: We are categorizing these issues by where they are appearing for you in game, so if you are seeing multiple instances of incorrect usage across different areas please make a separate comment for each so we can split them off into the correct threads.
Example:
- They/Them pronouns
- Getting a bad grade in school notification area uses His instead of They're.
