Update: This happened on a different save, too. I deleted the other one because my only adult Sim died, but it is happening in the save I just started. It said my Sim would get around 30,000 after selling her house and furniture, but after buying a 4,000 Simoleon lot I only had 21,000 Simoleons which was less than I had before she moved (22,000).

There is 1 question.
From which Lot type did your Sim move household?
From normal Residential Lot?
Or from other type, for example Tiny Home Residential Lot and so on?

    As of right now, it's been tiny home (all three levels) to empty lots. I will let you know if it is happening with regular residentials when I get enough money to move my Sims out of their current house).
