No, there hasn't been a fix yet. That's why I reported it as unfixed after the latest patch (Apr 7, 2020).

    I am having the same issue. Just bought the game last week and am unable to move through my tutorial achievements. How can I resolve?

      Hello @nbowlin7 

      So if you wait maybe a Sim-week or so (6 or 7 Sim-days), the locked interactions may become available.

        Really? I haven't had the patience to keep playing that long. Two or three sim-days was about as long as I ever went past the blocked point.

    Just out of curiosity, as you could see the issue, are you able to share the solution please? I've just started playing this and come across the same issue. Does waiting a sim week work or are we destined to be stuck for longer?

      @RWForder - I have had luck by recovering an earlier state of the game. Save and exit the tutorial; in the Load Game menu, click the Tutorial game save icon. Click the "Recover Save" button in the bottom right, next to the "play" button. This should give you a choice of backup saves. Choose one & continue from that point, being as careful as you can to not complete any steps until you're prompted to do so.
