[ARCHIVED] [TUTORIAL] Unable to complete tutorial because of locked actions

Really? I haven't had the patience to keep playing that long. Two or three sim-days was about as long as I ever went past the blocked point.

Hi, this problem is still not fixed. I'm having the same issue and waited over a week in tutorial time and I'm still locked out of fishing, taking a vacation day, and visiting a community lot. 

This is frustrating and disheartening. I would like to play the game, please.

Playing on PC Base Game & Dream Home Decorator. Athletic Career
I encountered this tutorial bug on my PS4 & PC games back in 2018 when I 1st bought the game. Tonight I forced the PC to complete the tutorial just because I wanted to defeat it. After every aspiration milestone the tutorial would be unable to move on. I saved the game to a new save -> exited Sims 4 -> exited Origin -> restarted PC -> open Origin -> repair sims 4 -> launch game. This took from 8pm until 2am my local time. the process was ridiculous & tedious. In game the process took from the start of the tutorial through to the next Monday. My sim Greg is now Athlete Career 4 & Alex has high skills painting 8 & cooking 5.

After the tutorial ends & Alex leaves the household I invited her to my home, turned testing cheats on & added her to the household where she had 0 skills. Alex is useless.

This last screenshot is amazing. Alex did nothing while Greg worked other than eat -> paint -> eat -> paint. She occasionally showered, slept & pottied. That's it. This wall of art sold for  $21,882 when I could finally access Build & Buy.

Please fix this bug. I do not understand why the tutorial for the game has been broken for this long but it is very difficult to learn how to play if you have no background in this type of game. I learned from watching sims tubers & even that was pretty hard as there are no PS4 sims tubers. A broken tutorial really does discourage new players.
