All mods are being removed from the Sims 4 folder and the game is repaired more than once when this problem occurs.
Trait section disappearing:
When I enter the game and create a new save, the 3 traits boxes disappear from the left-right corner with just the aspiration box left. The dice for picking random traits is still seen.
Sims not responsive in-game:
After the update, sims in the save could not respond to any command given including "Go there" or "Sit here". The phone pannel could be opened to choose commands but the sim would not respond to any of those. The only workable command is watch movie on any TVs in game.
Delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
Hi, I had this problem so I looked through the instructions on how to fix it. I troubleshooted my sims game, I repaired my sims game, I removed my 'The Sims 4' folder onto my desktop, I started the game completely knew, I deleted localthumbcache.packge, I started the game again yet still, the traits panel isn't showing up. Please help me.
