I’ve lost access to the eye colours and eye socket customizations from the vampire pack after the 22 October 2024 update. For context, I still have access to most of the clothing options from the vampires DLC in CAS. I can still make sims become vampires in the CAS, but even after removing mods, verifying the files on Steam, deleting and redownloading the DLC, I am still unable to get the CAS customizations back. Does anyone know of any other method I can try to retrieve the CAS customizations or file an EA help bug report?
I tried looking for help on the EA help page but it just directed me here.
I forgot to remove my mods before the update today if that’s of any relevant concern.
- soptik524 months agoRising NoviceSorry for the English, I'm from the Czech Republic. After today's update and after loading any save it will destroy all characters. I'm playing without mod.

Just to add to this I don't have any mods or CC and am also having this issue. It extends to the eyes, cheek details, mouth details, and eye socket details. I noticed it when playing a vampire character and their eyes and face are not the way I made it. So it is retroactively affecting a savegame I have already been playing on. I turned on cas.fulledit mode and went in and put the face and eye details back on. I then clicked on the checkmark to go back into the game and it again reverted back to normal eyes and face details, this time a different eye color, so it is defaulting to a random base-game eye color. As far as I'm aware, I still have access to these options within CAS, it just will not allow a sim to keep these options when entering into a game. Hope the extra detail helps!
- 3 months ago@Dynomyster56 I thought I was the only one. In just general sims, they change eye colours while I am changing their hair, sim with brown eyes ends up having pink eyes at the end of CAS and in game as well.
- 2 months ago@Dynomyster56 This is happening to me too. The teeth keep disappearing when I put them back on in CAS. It's annoying as I just spent £17 on this pack to make my sims look like vampires.
- VampiresTeeth4 months agoSeasoned Rookie@Cyn0su As far as I have been able to verify, this does not happen in all my saved games, only in one of them. Also, I have found that this error only happens with vampire Sims prior to the update and only in a normal form, as the dark form retains without problem all their vampiric traits. Also, vampires that are created from scratch keep their vampiric traits without problems regardless of whether they are created in a saved game affected by this problem or not. I have also found that, if you enter the CAS with these affected vampires and save a copy of them in the Gallery, they will still be affected by the same problem. It gives the feeling that the pre-update vampires are corrupted, and carry over this problem even when used in another unaffected save game.
- crinrict4 months agoHero+@VampiresTeeth I've merged your post with the bug report but to be sure, you have them showing in CAS but they will revert when going to live mode ?
- VampiresTeeth4 months agoSeasoned Rookie@crinrict Exactly: there's no poblem in CAS, but the moment you enter Live Mode, all the vampire features are gone.

I have seen the loss of Vampire Eyes and Face Details affecting ages Child and older. I have multiple Vampire families that are seeing this issue. One of my families has twins, this bug affecting one Child but not their twin. One or both parents would be missing their Vampire details. I have a Mermaid originally set with the yellow Vampire eyes that now has human eyes on her human form (Mermaid form unaffected). These families have all been previously played prior to the update.
