This occasionally happens to me, but I noticed it tends to happen when I have FRAPS open. Not even while recording, just the program open in the background. It also doesn't happen with every tab out, just here and there.
For me it was a problem in the past. If I left it minimized for a while and opened it back up, it stayed on white screen. Doesn't happen now but I'll test with FRAPS
Definitely happened to me a couple days back in between recording a building process. I stopped recording to tab out to check my email, tabbed back in to a white screen. Wouldn't go away until I exited FRAPS.
Do you start fraps first or the game ?
I can't duplicate even with Fraps running ☹️
