Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Latest
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Most of them except university and eco.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Become BFF with Makoa, then max romance then friendship.
What happens when the bug occurs? Can’t become soulmates. Traveling, dates, whohoo, marriage, none of it changes it. Tried breaking up and maxing romance, no soulmate status. Tried cheating, cheats don’t seem to work for relationships either.
What do you expect to see? Actual soulmate status.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Too tired to wait the 10 minutes it takes to get into the game after 3 hours of trying to solve this.
I found a method that might help someone with this problem:
try moving one of your Sims to a different lot/house (I did it via Manage Households). After that, my Sims finally got the Soulmate status!
