My situation is really similar. I have a male Sim who was created as Young Adult vampire, so he has no traits based on parenthood values (but I have this pack). However, he does have hot headed trait. He fights with his sister and brother-in-law (both maxed positive relationship) on a daily basis, usually with no negative moodlets. Sometimes they aren't even talking at the moment or they're in different rooms, but my fighter randomly decides it's time for some family violence.
Just as @Fierande said, I'd be fine with autnomous fighting, just not with loved ones and/or when there's no indication for that as negative moodlets.
It sounds like your issue is Vampiric spar which is normal and have no negative effects.
@jpkarlsen But it does have negative effects. Their relationship goes from full green bar to maybe acquaintance. I wouldn't bother if there was no negative effects. Also, it says "fight" in the interaction queue and behaves like a vampiric duel, just as @bookmaster325 said before.
