Broken computer has no repair interaction available

I'm having this problem consistently across households (all in the same save), using many different computers- confirmed issue on The Aesthetically Portable Tablet, GR Saker Typesmithy, and Respecterion Mid-Range Desktop, none of them upgraded to be unbreakable. As mentioned by someone else above, the computer does still show the option to adopt a horse when broken. No mods installed.
