Bulldozing an empty lot adds money
I accidentally bulldozed my sims lot twice and the second time round it added 149 simoleons to the household funds, I tried it again over 10 times and each time it adds the same amount of money. Every time the lot was completely empty too, apart from the undeletable mailbox. I found it on Brook Bungalow in Willow Creek, I'm not sure if it happens on other lots though!
(I mean, I didn't have to test it as many times as I did but it's better to be safe than sorry right? 😕mileywink: )
I'll post this here just in case if anyone else gets this odd problem as well.
Since mailboxes were removable in a patch earlier this year, removing my mailbox did nothing, so I decided to try something sort of obvious.
The house looked like it was still in existence on the world screen, so I decided to place a room on the lot, then bulldozing it again to "reset" the ghost image on the manage worlds screen.
It wouldn't give me money anymore after bulldozing the room. It then appeared empty on the world screen too.
I feel a bit silly I didn't try that before, but I guess this solves it since I didn't have this weird thing again.
I hope that anyone else having this problem could be able to solve their problem this way as well.
