[BY DESIGN] Gardener doesn’t fertilize plants anymore

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, vampires, jungle adventure, outdoor retreat, dine out, parenthood, luxury party, bowling night, laundry day, perfect patio
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Plant plants, hire a gardener
What happens when the bug occurs? Gardener just waters plants, weeds them, and sprays for bugs.
What do you expect to see? Gardener should (and used to) also fertilize plants
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Happened after gardening overhaul for seasons

I think gardeners should fertilize plants in addition to tending to them in other ways. They used to do it before the gardening system changed and I think it’s a bug that they don’t anymore.

    Your active Sim does have the option to fertilize them, right ?

    Hi @Jessycaz

    since th gardener is not working if you don't already have one, I can't really test this.

    Does your own Sim have the option to fertilize ?

    Okay, thanks. I was pretty sure that gardeners did, but I guess not

    I really wish they did it takes forever to fertilise the garden. I would literally pay $1000 per plant. They don't seem to want to evolve because they're not getting boosted even with the good soil lot trait. I can't stand fertilising it just takes forever.

    @yuk75 Just put down the bee-box. It'll do it for you (within a certain radius) Just need to keep the bees calm. It's a lot less work.
