[BY DESIGN] Household Members Aren't Maintaining Friendships (from library)

Yes, I haven't tested the actual Gallery, just my Library. It happens every single time. Like I've said, I've done the normal routine of repairing the game and resetting the documents folder files as well. 

No, just when you place the household into a new file or preexisting file. Not in actual gameplay. The households don't maintain their friendship levels from one save to another. I hope that clears up any confusion. Sorry

I found another post in my search to find out whether it was a bug or by design, but it was 3 years old, and I didn't want to necro the thread. Thank you so much for getting back to me. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask. You're always such a big help, and anything I can do to make it easier on you, let me know.

I've tested a few Sim in my game now and they always kept their relationships.

Did yesterday's patch help you at all ?

If not, do you have an example I could try in my save ?

I don't know if the patch helped. I'm unable to get to my computer to test it, and won't be able to until Monday. I'll see what I can do then, if that's o.k.

@crinrict The update didn't change anything. It still loses friendships when you save the household to your Library and place them in a save. I also tried getting a household from the Gallery, cheated their friendships, saved them to my Library, and they lost their relationship points too. It seems to do it for every household, especially roommates. Of course the game defaults familial ties to 50% friendship, but it doesn't maintain any more than that. It seems the romance bar stays as it is, though I'm not 100% sure on that one. To test it out for yourself, you just need any roommate household. Cheat their friendship bar, save them to your library, then place them in the world. It will drop back to the default acquaintance.
