this cropped up in my game after the july 31st patch, but i've only seen it in social situations.
one of my sims was invited to a renegade event at a pool. the group members all changed into their swimwear. my female did not change into her swimwear. in fact she "changed" into her cold weather gear, but the jacket changed from red to black. i had her change her outfit to her swimwear to match the other members and her top, which had been blue, changed to black, while the matching bottoms stayed blue.
the save she's in is completely new, though i had uploaded her (and the rest of the family) into my personal library. i don't use mods and never have on sims 4. i have all the expacs, jungle adventure, spa day, outdoor retreat, romantic garden stuff, perfect patio stuff, cool kitchen stuff, and the free ghoulish guitar and holiday celebration items.
this is just one of a few other bugs the july 31st update introduced into my game.
