This sounds like the default intended behaviour I’ve seen since I’ve had Seasons. There is no such thing as special harvestfest-only gnomes. Any gnomes you have will all be active during a holiday with gnome tradition. If you already have gnomes, it will use those, and if you don’t have any or enough it will spawn some.

@simvasion I can see why, since it might be hard to implement the gnomes to act differently depending on if they were bought or spawned, so I guess it’s more of an oversight rather than a bug. Not sure though, that’s why I made a bug report. But it’s a bummer if it’s an oversight or by design, because the only times I put gnomes on a lot is to put them on a very specific spot, using the Alt key, because I put them in the garden and I want them to look more natural than to just put them on the grid. 😆
