Can't fullfill want 'play with toys with sim'

What happens when the bug occurs? It cant be fullfiled
What do you expect to see? To be fullfilled
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

I have a childish adult sim that wants to play with toys with her child.
I have both the toddler sim and the adult sim play with toys next to each other.
I selected the regular play option.
The want is not fullfilled.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
I got the same want with my creative sim. The want bubble says to put two toys on the floor next to each other and tell each sim to play with toy. My sim doesn't have the childish trait and didn't get an option to play with the toy like the want instructed. I was able to fulfill the want however by watching the toddler play with a toy.
