Change Sim works for me, using the mirror over the sink at Bedlington Boathouse (just checked). I can't remember any time the mirrors haven't worked for me. I don't think anyone will be able to duplicate your issue without more details. Probably the most important detail is whether the mirror, sink, or any nearby objects were placed using Move Objects.

@Sketch793You must be new to the game, I have nothing to add for you.
@crinrict try the bigger bathroom in Chateau Peak in Del Sol Valley, this bug is always present there. Just don't use specific bathroom mirrors, the ones with shelves inside- Sketch7935 years agoSeasoned Ace
That's okay. I suggested that you should give more details and you did. Unfortunately, I still cannot duplicate the problem of unusable mirrors over sinks.
I moved two Sims to Chateau Peak in Del Sol Valley and checked every mirror I could find, starting with the room you circled. I started by checking the two mirrors over the sinks, then all three panels of the full-length wall mirror, and finally the mirror over the sink in the smaller bathroom on that floor. The mirrors I checked at Chateau Peak are the Vacuum-Safe Mirror and the I Only Have Eyes For Me Wall Mirror. The sinks were the RAW Industrial Sink, they were placed in The Harbinger Counter, with an empty The Harbinger Counter on each side, and another empty The Harbinger Counter between the two sinks in the room you circled. I used Change Sim and Plan Outfit... on each mirror (12 tests total). My test Sim was sent to Create-A-Sim (CAS) every time. However, he's a spellcaster with the Transportalate spell which might have made routing easier for him.
I then tried the other Sim. She's also a spellcaster but doesn't have the Transportalate spell yet, so she had to walk. I checked all three mirrors over the sinks and the center panel of the wall mirror. She did not have any routing errors either, and also was sent to CAS every time.
Finally, I loaded another save and the Vatore household since crinrict mentioned there might be a problem with a mirror there. I did not find any routing errors for mirrors over the sinks but I did get one for a mirror in one of the bedrooms, a Gilded Bat Mirror placed above the center of an Enigma Dresser. I moved the mirror to another spot and had no problem using it there, so it appears the only problem is that Sims can't use objects that they can't reach.
I don't think it matters how long I've been playing the game. I've done my best to follow the instructions you gave for finding the bug and I can't do it. If I can't find the bug, there's a good chance the developers won't either.

@Sketch793 Thank you for the efforts.
@Sketch793 @crinrict I just can't believe you couldn't replicate this. This bug is omni-present, and especially regarding the Chateau Peak - it is always present there. No matter what mirror or sink I choose.
I do not have screen recording app, unfortunately, but I never thought it's a problem o replicate this. in the first place.
