Here are the pictures of a new scene while clicking the whistle next to the dog's sim image. It's reproducable just like the scene with the rubber-duck.
Hi @LuvMySimz
I also have a question for you if you are willing to respond!
Where you controlling the Dog when the issue occured? (via mods)
Thank you very much!
- twmuse8 years agoSeasoned VeteranEven though not asked to me, I can say it happens when not controlling the dog. I have no mods that allow pet control.
- crinrict8 years agoHero+On what interactions ?

Actually it seems to happen more often on no interactions, the dog will just be doing it's own thing (like chasing her tail) and all of a sudden just semi spin and jump up into the deformed state, then back to dog as usual.

@SimQARobo
Due to some RL family issues I wasn't able to respond here sooner. Sorry about that.
Since I have never shared a save file, I wouldn't know which one to share as they all have numbers and no names. I have about 32 files in my save :/
The situation with the rubber-duck (he had found as a purple gift package while digging and gave it to its owner). I clicked "open" and it was a rubber-duck. I placed the duck on the ground and when clicking the rubber-duck -> the option "chew on toy" (I'm playing in German, so not really sure if that is the correct translation) came up. When my dog tried to chew on it, he ended up in this deformed position.

As posted before, yes, I do have mods, but the deformation happens with and without mods. In my last post with the picture this happend when clicking the whiste. The Dog was gone from my lot and I was wondering where he'd headed to. So I looked around and found him way back by a fishing spot in Windenburg. I clicked on his whiste to come back home, and that's when this happend. Must add that it doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes.
If I start a brand new save how can I test this with the duck? The duck wont be there since he'd found it as a gift.ETA:
I found the duck. It's a Toddler toy. I didn't know lol. Now I can test in a new save and vanilla game...
And to correct my answer, yes, I had the "control pets mod" in game from orangemittens when this happend. No other mods though, just CC's.

It's OK 🙂
Would you be able to send the entire \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves\ folder? You can right-click the folder and choose Send To... then select Compressed (zipped) folder to package it into one zip file.

Pets in labor will no longer attempt to stand upright, causing them to distort in their portrait images.- It was scary… animal rights groups were greatly concerned.
Another instance of weird deformation was fixed in patch 1.40.61
