    @scuffz760 Did you try resetting the cat, or just the Sim? I’ve noticed that interacting with animals can cause hang ups when the pet’s invisible queue doesn’t cancel properly.

    @crinrict Oh! thanks for the link. I didn't know more people were having this issue with the stairs.
    Regarding the adoption of strays, well....I guess all that's left is to wait then ☹️ If more people are experiencing the same issue, maybe EA will fix it soon, right?
