[CD] Sim freeze in place when walking dog

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Norsk
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.83.24.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All, except Journy To Batuu, Bust The Dust, Garden Oasis, Fashion Street, Blooming Rooms, Modern Menswear
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have at least one sim and one dog. Take the dog for a walk or jog.
What happens when the bug occurs? If I choose for my som to take the medium, long or jog, my sim and dog will walk/jog about 3/4 of the way and then my sim freeze in place. I have to use the «reset sim» cheat to un-freeze them. If I choose to have my sim take a short walk, my sim will freeze in place when the walk is complete and my sim is back home. I have to use the «reset sim» cheat to un-freeze them.
What do you expect to see? My sim and dog complete their walk without freezing in place.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I rarely play with pets, so I’m not sure how long this has been an issue.

    @crinrict After doing some more playtesting, I can’t seem to recreate the issue where they freeze during the walk.

    They do freeze after the walk. It happens in the neighbourhoods I’ve tested: Mt. Komorebi (Wakaba), Newcrest (Llama Lagoon) and Brindleton Bay (Whiskerman's Wharf).

    @marianlarsen Leaving this separate for now but there's like a ton of dog walking threads now. I lost track what's mentioned where. I do think the freezing when walk is over was mentioned before.

    It happened to me as well, im on PC and in Brindleton Bay. Walking or jogging a dog will start and as previously said by someone else, they stop walking and idle, or sometime just freeze. Also, sometime, the dog disappears in the meander of the universe lol, dont know where the dog is, but disappear, I can see the leash, so follow it a mile away, the dog teleported very far away, sims blocked by that, stay on place, dog reappered, then sims teleported away and dog again teleported away, then they kind of synchronize and continu their walk side by side. Its is removing all immersion. Its buggy as hell and not very well playable right now, I don't care how many years I have on this file, this is unacceptable for such a big company. This game is broken and need some love.

    My sim froze completely today while walking her dog around the spice market as she lives in the house nearby. She was frozen for quite a long time and I couldn't do a thing. When she eventually moved she just walked in circles on a loop. I couldn't cancel the action, it greyed out but wouldn't cancel. I tried cancelling the dog leash but that made no difference. The Romance Festival notification popped up so I clicked that but it just added to her queue and nothing happened.

    I just had to go to Options and Manage Worlds. When I returned to my sim they were both reset.

    The quick walk with the dog ended up taking the entire day.
