Certain Items look broken/invisible (Intel, DX9)

i placed Mortimer's Secrets Bookcase on to a residential lot and it appears just a shadow. the pack it comes from is discover university, two screenshots have been attached.

@roseiasingma It works fine for me.

What platform are you playing on ? Could you try a game repair ?

      Have any of you tried a game repair yet ?

      For EA app

      1. Close the game
      2. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the game in your library
      3. Choose Repair game

      For Steam:

      1. Close the game
      2. Right Click on the game in your library
      3. Choose Properties
      4. Choose tab Installed Files
      5. Press Verify Integrity of Game Files

      @roseiasingma after a game repair, the bookcase is still appearing as only shadows

        @roseiasingma are you using DX11 or DX9 ? You can check on the lower right corner of the main menu.,

        If you are using DX11, could you try switching to DX9 in your game options ?
