i placed Mortimer's Secrets Bookcase on to a residential lot and it appears just a shadow. the pack it comes from is discover university, two screenshots have been attached.
When I place the “Mortimer’s Secrets Bookcase” it’s not actually there. I can highlight the item as if it is there and use it as if it is there but the item is not there. The item shows up outside but not inside the builds. (Walls are on tall wall height.)

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post
Could you please post a pic of your showers and also post your DxDiag.
Here is the DxDiag. I have no idea how to read that.
@SeeminglyCece23 Your dxdiag shows that the driver for your laptop's graphics chip is several years old. So please install the newest driver available from Intel (dated September 3):
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
If that alone doesn't help, please try switching Sims 4 to DirectX 11 mode, as described in post 19 of this thread.
