Cheat to Upgrade Items

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? January 20, 2025 version (I'm not exiting the game sorry)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It seems to be random so I don't think you can
What happens when the bug occurs? My handiness skill maxed out sims tries to upgrade a washing machine but there is not timer on the part they are trying to upgrade which unless I end it will go to infinity and still NOT upgrade said part.
What do you expect to see? A timer for the part being upgraded and for that part to be upgraded.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I'm wondering if there is a cheat that will allow me to fully upgrade an item.
My sim is perfectly capable of doing this as he has 10 level in handiness but yesterday a bug appeared where he is endlessly upgrading, without actually upgrading so I have to end the process.
It doesn't seem like many have this but, so they may not address it, reason why I am asking for a cheat code if possible, if not i am just going to sell the machine, and use only one, which I had upgraded before this.
