[CHEATS] Sentiment cheats no longer working

i’ve tried every cheat out there to remove the ‘hurt’ sentiment my sim now has for her husband after he — completely autonomously of course — was mean to her. it’s driving me insane because now she’s sad every time she’s in the same room as him, which understandably is often lol. can anyone help me out? like has EA disabled sentiment cheats or something or am i doing something else wrong? and does anyone know an alternative (maybe in-game) methode of getting rid of sentiments? thanks in advance!
