[CHEATS] Sims lost their NPC jobs and cannot be assigned to NPC roles

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.315.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All packs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Using EA's in-game cheat codes, get the sim's ID then apply a NPC career to them. They must also have the correct traits and skills for the career. For example, active trait and level 10 fitness for the gym trainer. Save and reopen the game. sims.get_sim_id_by_name [yoursimfirstname] [yoursimlastname] careers.add_career Adult_NPC_Gym_Trainer [ID]
What happens when the bug occurs? When you apply the career and ask them what their career is, they will say "I'm a gym trainer at ." If you hover over their relationship portrait, the career says gym trainer but the location is blank. They will never spawn in their assigned job, but another random sim will. When you save the game and reopen it, then ask them what their career is, they are unemployed. EA's Supriya Delgato is no longer chosen as a vet in new saves.
What do you expect to see? Bartenders, gym trainers, librarians, retail workers, spa workers, restaurant workers, and veterinarians(maybe more) should be able to be assigned with these cheats and keep their job upon reopening the game. These cheat codes and mods that utilized these cheat codes used to work perfectly, but now they are unusable and there's no way to assign NPC roles for jobs that require a location.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. I noticed this issue some time between the arrival of infants and the current patch.

I've been working on a new save for a few months now, where all the npc sims are created by me or EA by default, not randomized. With this current bug, I am unable to play the save I've spent so long working on. I know there is a very recent Answer HQ post about a similar issue of these NPC's not showing up at all, but that's not what I'm experiencing even though it sounds related. Turning fame on and off does not fix this issue for me.

    I've been working on a new save for a few months now, where all the npc sims are created by me or EA by default, not randomized. With the help of Zero's Assign NPC Jobs mod, I was able to assign the sims I wanted to their role and everything was working flawlessly.

    Sometime after the arrival of infants or for rent, sims that had npc jobs involving a location have now lost them and been replaced. Bartenders, gym trainers, librarians, retail workers, spa workers, restaurant workers, and veterinarians. Even EA sims like Supriya Delgato, who normally spawns as a vet in a new save, is not showing up.

    I've tried taking all mods out, repairing my game, deleting cache files, and regenerating my documents folder. Using the in-game cheat codes to assign npc roles does not work any more for these jobs, nor do mods. The role will apply initially, but it's removed after re-opening the game. When you ask the sim about their career, they will say "I'm a gym trainer at ." and never show up at any gym. It seems like something has broken or changed and they now need to be assigned to specific locations. As far as I know, there isn't a way to do that currently.

    Is anyone else having any similar issues with these npc roles? I've only found one recent answers HQ post that was vaguely similar, but not quite. The solution was to turn fame back on, which didn't fix it for me.

    Update your venue list with Basemental of Jan 3 2024 

    Move all mods files / tray / thumbcache /  saves to desktop
    Repair
    start a clean new game with fame opt in trick.
    Then put your mods etc back and your saves and it should work.
    NOT an EA approved but having the venue list and doing that that way fixed all the major issues with NPC and For Rent I was having. 
    (But updating the venue alone did not )
