It wasn't there years ago and I don't think it was ever supposed to be there. I think the devs just added the fuse box for flair. Hope this helps! Personally, I enjoy playing WITHOUT that trait. Wish you fun play!!

    It broke when they did the Lot Trait / Lot Challenge overhaul when they made Cottage Living
