Collectibles Not Showing In Collections Until Placed Back in Inventory

This is basically across the board - it's affecting almost every type of Collectible. MySims trophies aren't registering at all (0/20) even though I have several of them. I have 6 Microscope prints ...

I am also having this issue where if I get collectibles from the mailbox, they aren't being counted in the collection UI.  When I move collectibles in and out of my inventory they are counted for The Curator aspiration.  This exploits the aspiration.
