It seems they've added the ability to remove all plants, not just dead plants.
This interaction is "Fjern død plante" = "Remove DEAD plant" in Danish, which is inaccurate, as you can now remove healthy plants as well.
I thought that my game was broken and all plants were dying immediately, but no.. I only realized when accidentally installing the English version while troubleshooting and seeing that the English interaction was just called "Uproot".
I recommend the name of the interaction is changed to just "Fjern plante" = "Remove plant".
