Collecting issues with Lot Traits in here Compiled List Convivial Trait causes quick changing in moods on several lot types. Private Dwelling lot doesn't prevent neighbors to come over for entertainment while Sim is singing Chef's Kitchen and/or Homey trait does not affect the quality of food when added to restaurants.

I've been encountering a strange bug this week, and I don't know if it's tied to the Fitness patch or Parenthood, but it seems that using the convival lot trait can break a wide variety of sim behaviors. 1. Using convival on a "gym" or "spa" lot breaks Yoga classes. The instructor will conduct the class, but the sims that are participating don't do anything . They don't follow the instructor, but instead they just stand there watching until the class ends. There's also always 1-2 sims with the speed bubbles (quickly changing icons in thought bubbles). Removing the convival trait fixes the issue. 2. Using convival on a "lounge" lot creates an issue in which a sim with the convival: confidence buff will start a conversation and simply keep talking - no pause between speech phases, and no response from the other sim. The buff will continuously refresh (at the start of each convo/statement) and the corresponding whim will change also. I have recorded this happening for better analysis. Removing the convival trait resolves the issue. So, basically, convival seems broken. I'm on a updated client with a clean cache & empty tray, Windows 10, all expansions/GP/SPs installed, no mods, etc. I can't attach videos -- if they'd be helpful I'll upload them to youtube or can email them or something. :/

I have convivial on a home lot and it made my sims flip randomly between confident and happy emotion states.They'd gain the confidence moodlet for convivial and then lose it again a few seconds later, get it again a few seconds later and then drop it again. It made it frustrating because I was trying to fulfil the confident whims and they kept switching whims every time they dropped out of confident state every few seconds.

Hey Crinrict,This is also auradove, I'm just using my partner's account.I cannot, actually, as the TLC trait is a unique, lot-specific trait to one lot in San Myshuno. It cannot be added to another lot, or removed from the lot it's assigned to.From what I can tell, it doesn't happen at all with regular upgrades or maintenance. Only the TLC lot problems seem to trigger it, such as the roach infestation, mice holes, the leaky pipes, and the electrical circuit breaker box fizzling out. Since these problems are isolated specifically to very particular items/situations unique to the lot, I can't replicate it anywhere else.I'm guessing-- and I *really* stress guessing because I don't really know the code-- these objects/situations typically also have coding to deplete hygiene, which on normal Sims, even with certain traits, isn't a problem because showering or bathing can still cause their hygiene bar to move. But an Odorless Vampire seems to operate differently, completely eliminating gains and losses at all. Showering or bathing doesn't fix the issue, their hygiene bar refuses to move because they aren't supposed to be effected by it, but it was depleted none-the-less. It may just have been overlooked when they were doing QA to ensure the different game packs work nicely with each other.I mean, the alternative is I'm experiencing an isolated bug unique to my situation. Which, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised with.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. In world menu, select Vacation > each world > select Rental lot and Build. 2. Click "House i"(top-left) icon. This will open "TRAITS ? ? ?" menu.
What happens when the bug occurs? You'll notice you can assign Cat Friendly / Dog Friendly traits.
What do you expect to see? In "Residential" lot, you can't assign "Dog|Cat Friendly" traits. Rental is almost same as Residential. Why not restrict them?
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Please be advised that since installing Jungle Adventure, I've had Lot Trait issues as well. It may have happened before, and I simply didn't notice. If I've assigned any lot traits to a spa or gym, for example, that lot tends to cause the Sims to freeze in place. Everyone gets the little light bulbs and plus signs above their heads as if they are skilling. Time moves normally, so it isn't a lag issue.

After removing all lot traits, the issue was resolved.

This thread is more for issues with lot traits not doing what they're supposed to. Yours doesn't seem specific to any lot trait so I think it's better if it has it's own thread.
