So the UI element to indicate mood is staying the same despite having no modifiers for that specific mood. See picture:
This occured after reloading a save from last night. Will play around and post here when it fixes itself.

The mood changed after taking a bubble bath, so the UI seems to act a little wonky upon loading a save game. Doesn't affect the sims emotions when this occurs.

I added this link to a similar bug already on the list (portrait disappearing)

Hi guys!
I looked through the list of known bugs and did not see this in the list, so please let me know if this is happening to you as well or if it's just my computer. (God I hope not, I just got the graphics card replaced a couple of months ago.)
But, I'm not having any major graphical glitches with the exception of some of my Sim's UI "disappears" after switching to a new Sim. Now, I'm not talking about the 50x50 icons, I'm talking about the actual moodlet UI; the ones that changes depending on what mood your Sim is. I had this issue previously and it fixed on it's own, but now everytime I switch between the two, they disappear again!
- Are you using mods (Please answer with: Yes, Never, Removed) --> Never
- Are you using custom content (as in clothing and objects) No
- What is your Operating System (XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 8, Win 8.1) Win 8
- Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game ? Download
Graphical Issues (Computer Stats)- Intel core i7 processor,
- 4GIGs of Ram,
- 2 Gigs of VRAM
- GeForce GTX 765m graphics card
- Win 8 operating system.
Hopefully someone has a resolve for this.
In the meantime, happy Simming!
Edit:
I have provided some screenshots as well if that helps the cause.
Female Sim Active, No Portrait ⚽
Male Sim Active, No Portrait 🏈
Male Sim Active, Change of Clothes, Portrait is there again 🏀
Switches between the Male and Female, Portrait disappears again (4)
I hope these help!
Edit 2; I have found a temporary fix to this. When the game is started, do not switch between the current active Sim (the Portrait should be there from start up unless you have switched) and the house hold Sims for a couple of hours in game, the problem should fix itself again.

@Grawvie Merged with this one. Disappearing was reported in the old bug thread and it's kinda similar so I merged them before even if there was no real report on it on here.

@cinrict Awesome! Glad we could merge the two together.
I have provided some screenshots as well if that helps the cause.
