Potions can't be put in the Household inventory at all now. I don't know if they fixed it to do that on purpose, or if this is a new issue.
There is no longer an option to place the garden planter boxes in household inventory. You can sell them or delete them, but that is all. There is no longer an option to place in household inventory. You can still place all the plants themselves in the household inventory, but not the planter boxes. Discovered this when I wanted to clear out the garden temporarily for a wedding.

I recently moved a household and the planter boxes will go with them in the household inventory, the pots won't though. They never have done, it's one of those 'why?' conundrums typical of the Sims ☹️
The game seems to treat the planter boxes in preset lots differently from the ones created on the workbench. The latter I'm able to put in household inventory, while the former can only be sold or deleted.
I'm on Mac OS X (Yosemite), all expansions and packs, no mods or CC.

Yes, the planter boxes still cannot be placed in inventory, only sold.
I might have deleted it after checking myself and making this collection thread.
