Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Cooking with an oven. Click on a fridge on select a recipe that need your sim to use the oven either for baking or using the tops.
What happens when the bug occurs? The animations are broken on the sims themselves and also the oven door being teleported down while open and then close back in a broken fashion. Sim will take the prepped ingredients or what ever else they preppared on a chopping board and will approach the oven to either put thing in, or cook on top, sims take the food in an animation to drop it into the pan or in the oven and freeze. Like in a reset fasion, then continu to cook, and resolve cooking animation properly. This happen as well while canning. I believe this bug started a while back with Cottage Living and the introduction of canning.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see sims not freezing while doing the animation to drop the food into the oven or on the cooking pan or pot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I am not sure when this started, but it has been years I think, since cottage living at least, since I noticed it first on the canning animation with the oven of course.
