Curved walls: Can't re-place window after changing foundation height

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Build a room with curved wall. Then change height of foundation after attached windows.
What happens when the bug occurs? The range of window installations goes wrong.
What do you expect to see? If change height of foundation, the range of window installations never change.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

At the first time I notice this, when I tried to lower the once raised foundation and replace the window.

*Both of ground floor & 2nd floor's walls height are middle height wall. And pic below is immediately after lowering the foundation.

This curved part is made by combining a large size and a small size curved wall. I don't know why it would make a difference in the scope of installation. Maybe this difference has something to do with it, but here I'll only take issue with the relationship to the change in foundation height.

Changing the height of the foundation is not a problem as long as don't try to replace the window. However, I think it is a problem can't make any changes about both of changing height of foundation and changing windows.

@Pick-a-boo_doo I had a similar issue and had to replace the curved portion of the walls to be able to place the windows.

@rlc77 Thanks adding more information. Is the floor where replaced curved wall a ground floor or other higher floor? And which window did you replace?　Pics would be helpful.

@Pick-a-boo_doo I think it was the second floor or maybe the third floor. It was one of the curved windows that came with the high school pack. Sorry, it was a few days ago and it's been a long week. Hard to remember exactly.

@rlc77 Thanks for reply. I don't have the HSY pack so I can't test it, but in a large size curved wall only room, the window installation area remained strange even after replacing the curved wall section. Then I made another room with different sized curved walls connected, but this time, changing the height of the foundation did not cause any problem with the window placement area. I'm not sure what's going on anymore.
I would be glad to see some more information posted.

@Pick-a-boo_doo I know I was using the smallest curved wall section. I think that the issue might be with the curves. Sometimes they seem to have these strange floating planes that you can see near the ceiling. Maybe they interfere with the placement of items. The curves definitely take some finessing when using them.

@rlc77 It certainly looks like the top portion is not properly transparent. For windows, I don't have too much trouble because they are placed on the curved wall from the outside, but it is very difficult to place things inside the room. Especially things to be placed on the wall. I have to zoom the camera in or place it in a semi-transparent state to be able to install it. It's a little cumbersome, isn't it? 🙂
As for the foundation, when I posted the OP, I thought it was a bug because the window could not be reinstalled in both of two houses I built, but I did not see it in the two houses I built after that, and so far it has only happened in two of the four houses I have built. So now I have not be able to say that the reproducibility is 100%. I wish I could get some more information from other people who have had the window installation range go wrong due to the change in foundation height.

I tested this and was able to replicate what you've reported. The windows will place on the curved section when the foundation is flat. And they will stay in position when you raise the foundation. But if you remove one and try to place it again, you can't put it back and get the error. You can put them back if you lower the foundation back to flat and then raise it again after you place the window. If you raise the foundation first, I could still place windows.
It appears that there is some kind of bug that only occurs if you place the windows then raise the foundation. Otherwise, doesn't happen. So, the workaround is to raise the foundation first I think.

Thanks for testing and reply. But sorry, that didn't work for me. And I noticed one thing. That is, it may not be only the change in foundation height that is causing this issue. Look at the following pics.
A: Curve wall and curve wall are grounded at the top and bottom
B: Not grounded
Both raise the foundation first.
Only in A, the change occurred about window's position.
Also tried to put the windows on first.
Happened issue
Nothing change
And also, I don't know if this is related to this or not, but can you tell me one thing? Is this normal behavior for this window?

@Pick-a-boo_doo I've tried to adjust your title a bit to make it a bit clearer what happens but I'm not sure I got it right. Basically went by what CGrant was saying as I'm having a bit troubles understanding your report (I'm not a builder).

Does that catch what you are seeing ?

Those pics are all I saw when I built. (I am using an external tool as a capture tool.) At first time I posted this, the defect described in this post is that if the height of the foundation is changed, the window cannot be reinstalled in the curved wall. However, after further testing, I realized that this glitch changes the range of possible window installations. And more that this glitch is caused by changing the height of the foundation, and yet it happens in a situation where a curved wall is installed on top of a curved wall, I noticed. That is the meaning of post #9. This is all I know at this point.
And there are still some things I don't understand. That is, there have been no problems on the 2nd floor except when I first had the glitch. It will take more time on this.
I am a little uncertain if I am answering your question correctly. (My mother language is not English...)
