    @annabaanan To be sure: You waited until the actual time of the gig and not just travel there ?

    That goes to everyone really.

    This is how it should work

    1- You accept a gig.
    2. The gig usually starts at 9 AM the next day.
    3. An hour before you get a popup stating that your gig will start in an hour
    4. At time of the gig you are automatically taken to the house if you choose to do so, you can also send them alone.
    5. Knock on the door.
    6. Folks should be in

    I played quite a few gigs and never had an issue so just wanting to make sure it's not that

    Also, please keep bug reports on topic. If you have other issues, make your own thread (test without mods beforehand).

So I haven't been able to fully use the new game pack because every time I select a gig and go to the clients home at the gig time, the clients will either disappear (like they are leaving the lot) or not be there at all. So I am unable to talk to them to get their style preferences or call them back in any way. I tried uninstalling my mods and restarting the game and everything.

    I'm having the same issues as you. I have tried arriving early and late as I'm never given a pop up for when its time to arrive. In addition to the clients disappearing the moment I use the "knock on door" action, the completed goals show that I never visited the clients lot.. even after winging it and completing a gig. (I had to wing it because there was no client to talk to about what to do)


    I also tried restarting the game and when I came back the screen gave me two pop ups, the first saying my gig had begun and that it was time to go, and the second saying i had failed it basically. Just went to my second gig and same thing happened.. ☹️

    PS. I don't use mods on my game. I play on PC with all expansions, game, and stuff packs.

      Rightclick the game in Origin and select Repair.

      @xEnderlie I merged your post with the main thread. Currently I don't know how much this thread is a bug or a misunderstanding.

      If you travel to the lot without having the job starts pop-up, the Sims just leave cause the gig hasn't officially started

      So There's probably TWO issues here:

      1. People don't realize there's a starting time and just travel to the lot.
      2. People don't get an actual pop-Up for the gig and travel to the lot manually.

      Both cases will show the symptoms described in this thread.

      So solutions are as follows

      1. Make sure to wait for the pop-up before travelling to the lot

    @MaeDae9222 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
