Disappearing modular closet after save

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure what triggered it. I tried to recreate the issue in a new build but can't. Issue currently specific to one build.
What happens when the bug occurs? Working in build mode, I save my build, exit either to the Manage Worlds, Main Menu, or leave the game completely, and when I return to the build parts of the modular closet are missing. It doesn't matter which modular pieces I use, they disappear from the particular space. They are on each end of the closet.
What do you expect to see? I expect all my items to still be there after saving and exiting.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
