[DU] Roommate doesn't stop making white cake

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.69.59.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EP- All but Snowy Escape and Eco Lifestyle GP- Jungle Adventure, Spa Day, Vampires, Realm of Magic, SP- Cool Kitchen Stuff, Laundry Day, Luxury Party, Moschino, Perfect Patio, Tiny Living, Vintage Glamour
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim with roommates/foodie trait.
What happens when the bug occurs? Only one of my sims is affected, she had the Foodie trait, and was living in university housing with other, so obviously she had roommates. After making the original post, I went back into the game and fiddled around to see if I could fix it. I went into CAS and removed her foodie trait through cas.fulleditmode, and the tendency got better. Before I removed it, she would spend any uncontrolled time making cakes and leaving them all over the floor. She also completed university, so I moved her into an apartment in San Myushino by herself and did not notice her making cakes, I was playing for about a half hour after making these changes.
What do you expect to see? I hope to see that this issue can be fixed, and that I can have my sims have roommates and foodie traits without this tendency being a problem.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I removed all mods and CC from the folder and ran the game without custom content and disabled script mods, the issue still showed up.

I have been having the famous "white cake" issue that has been linked to Eco Lifestyle, but I do not have this EP and have the same issue?? I'm not sure how to fix it but my sims will not stop making cakes, even after I "X" the action out, it pops right back up and it will not stop until I debug the sim, but they get right back to making cakes after a few minutes.

    I've decided to have a household with 6 roommates and OH GOODNESS there's so many white cakes everywhere, that's all that the roommates do. All they cook is white cake, exclusively. I don't have NAP enabled.

    @MR_TURBODRIVER there's a roommate quirk where they are designated as someone who brings home desserts like cakes and cookies. Sounds like you have those as your roommates.

    I remember when I first played Discover Uni and had one or two of those and while my sims never starved, it wasn't really nutritious. I think they even got negative moodlets from eating just junk food exclusively.

    I wish I got one of those roommates with the quirk to bring back monte cristo sandwiches and roast turkey instead :P

    @simvasionNo, they don't bring white cake, they bring other sweets. They cook white cake, and only white cake, ever, as I said in my message.

    @MR_TURBODRIVER you're right - roommates with the baking interest will bring back hamburger cake, strawberry cake, black and white cookies, chocolate chip cookies or heart cookies.

    The same baking interest roommate trait will also encourage them to autonomously bake, and so that explains what you're seeing with the white cakes, since that's one of the possible things they could pick to bake. It sounds like it's something they should tone down.

    @ValOchoa20 This is driving me INSANE - I’m going fulleditmode to see if I can change it. I’m spending 25% of my day cleaning up !&8,?$? white cake!! All those wasted ingredients, too!

    The other thing is the stupid potions around the grill…..holy sim lord, please PLEASE stop every random sim and employee and roommate make de-stress potions on the grill from dawn till dusk every day!!

    I now have this bug.  Sim is living in Brindleton Bay and has 4 roommates.  2 are making cakes all day every day.  I've checked there is no NPC foodies action or whatever, no traits or anything that's been mentioned here.  I feel like I've exhausted all the options and this household isn't really playable like this.

    There are some other bugs I've had here too.  Most of them have been worked out but more keep coming.  I use minimal mods and the issues happen with or without the mods in.

    Are we ever going to get a fix for roommates and NPC sims making white cakes over and over, day after day? Can we please make solving this a higher priority? Anyone? Bueller?
