[DU] Servo stuck on 'Toggle Behavior Modules' screen

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Steam-PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.349.1020 DX9
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover University, Seasons, Get to Work, Dine Out, and Party Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on your servo > Servo > Toggle Behavior Modules
What happens when the bug occurs? Right now I only have one behavior module on my servo, the cleaning one. In the Toggle Behavior Module screen, if you unclick the only selectable module, the screen gets stuck and you can't press the checkmark, when hovering over it there's text that says "Must select 2 modules". The only way to get out is to close the game entirely
What do you expect to see? I should be able to get out of the toggle behavior module screen without closing my game, and I should be able to use modules on the servo I spent hours creating
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I saw there was a thread of this exact problem back in 2019, so 5 years later this issue is still occurring. It's extremely frustrating since it's already so hard to create a Servo, but now after my Sim spent countless hours making mechanisms and computer chips, I can't even use it with behavior modules. Is there a way to fix this issue?

  • @hehodson I’m having this problem too. I’m on PC, the previous thread was about consoles and it was solved by an update so I think this is a new bug altogether.
  • I had this problem, too. I don't know how to stop the glitched menu, but pressing command+Q worked for me (I'm on a Mac, but I believe the Windows alternative is alt+f4) to get the save and quit menu, so I could at least restart the game without losing progress.
