Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.69.57.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get To Work, Discover University, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City living, Parenthood, Spa Day, My First Pet, Backyard, Get Famous, Dine out, Laundry Day, Vampires, Get Together, Eco Lifestyle, Tiny Living and Strangervile
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Turn off Eco Footprint or set the footprint to neutral and wait for nighttime
What happens when the bug occurs? Aurora effect shows even when the eco-footprint is turned off or if neutral.
What do you expect to see? It shouldn't appear when if the footprint is not green. It should appear when the footprint is green
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I got the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack and then the bug shows
This is affected by my expansion pack: Eco Lifestyle
There is a bug in Eco Lifestyle where the Aurora effect at nighttime shows up even if the footprint is either neutral or turned off

Steps I tried:
1. Setting the footprint to green then neutral
2. Turning the footprint on and off
3. Traveling to another area then back
Additional Notes:
Other areas are not affected by this. It is affected in De Sol Valley - The Pinnacles
The Sun Rays do not appear at daytime
I am waiting to hear from you!
Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title, Added Base Game Version Number
@HyperMan808 Then it's probably a matter of the aurora never switching off which is part of the other aurora bug.
Can you test if you get auroras if the footprint was never green ?This is the other issue: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-ECO-Lighting-issue-with-Sun-Rays-and-Aurora-on-Green/td-p/9429362
EDIT: Can you test if Basemental's Eco Hack mod (the cheat he provides) helps you with this issue. Link can be found here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/INFORMATION-Common-Game-Fixing-Mods-Hero-Approved/m-p/9836567#M169143
