Endless loading screen after trying to start a wedding with < 1000 Simoleons

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.349.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? The Holiday pack and Grim's Ghoulish Guitar.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? With less than 1000 Simoleons, use the "Plan Wedding" action on an engaged sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? It gets stuck infinitely loading.
What do you expect to see? A popup saying "You don't have enough simoleons to do this!".
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

So yeah. I had my mods on when I first encountered this bug, and I had to end the task with task manager just to stop the infinite loading, therefore making me lose some progress. When I tried it without mods, I saved first just in case. Then it happened again. Super annoying! Hate it.
