Event goal shows up as 'Thank fans for coming'

My sim hosted a dinner party, and I had the same problem. The goal said "Thank fans for coming" instead of thanking guests. She was able to complete it by thanking the guests for coming though. My sim is trying to become famous and is close to getting her first fame star, so maybe that's why it happens.

The thing is, I don't even own the get famous DLC! lol
