Family members forget their family leading to unwanted romance interactions

Yes. For example if I'm playing one household and I swap to another, when I return to the other household there's like a 25% chance that they'll all have forgotten family relationships (reflected on the family tree) even though the friendship bar is still active. It also happens a little more often if I move one or more sims out of a household, they're suddenly gone from the family tree. Using MCCC to reestablish family relationships has become a necessity because of this. 

I think it's only happened once when I was in the middle of playing a family, otherwise it goes something like this:

I'm playing household 1 for a bit. I leave household 1 to play household 2 for a while. I then return to household 1 and there are no relationships intact & the sims mother is trying to hook up with her sims daughter & they end up with a romance bar. 

or

I'm playing household 3, I move 2 children/siblings out of household 3. Now household 3 forgets that the moved out sims are family, leading to awkward romantic encounters if they visit one another/see each other out at a venue.

What happens when the bug occurs? Sims ‘forget’ who their parents are and behave like they don’t them
What do you expect to see? The genealogy to stay as the genealogy l set up in CAS
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I started a new family in a new save, parents with 4 children and they were all listed correctly as  mother, father, sisters, brothers etc

 now for some reason my sim has ‘forgotten’ who his mother is and she’s now listed as ‘step mum’ and his sisters are now ‘half sisters’. His father now has a blank ‘wife’ supposedly who is my sim’s new random mother 

what the heck is going on? Is there any way to change it without starting a new save? So many bugs in this buggy game 🤨

@crinrict I’m always playing the same household. I have no idea why it’s changed all of a sudden? 

@crinrict No l don’t know I’m afraid- the first l noticed of it was when his mother was getting all flirty round him 😬 (not nice to watch 😂) then l realised he hadn’t even met her yet so l clicked on the genealogy and noticed it had all changed 🤷‍♀️
