@mchdancer Sorry no. I've tried everything and given up. Have you found a solution? I've tried clean install, repairing game, starting new game and same issue.

@simmingmummy86 @mchdancer This may be a stretch, but do either of you use automatic cloud backups like iCloud or Dropbox? If so, have you checked to confirm that the contents of your screenshots folder are still stored locally rather than only in the cloud?
- 3 years ago@PipMenace Thank you for your reply. I dont use any automatic cloud backs up. Also I'm not sure screenshots folder direct affects in game images.
- PipMenace3 years agoHero@simmingmummy86 I'm pretty sure taking photos with the Sim's camera actually saves those images to your screenshot folder, and that deleting them will then break the photos in game. But if it seems to be consistently happening whenever you reach a certain number of played families in the save, it sounds more like an overall processing error - like there's too much to keep track of, and it's somehow losing the link to the photos. Usually that would just cause lag...not sure which is worse. I'm afraid I don't have anything else to offer other than just... have you tried putting them in household inventory and then replacing? I have occasionally had photos/paintings turn to question marks in inventory but then load properly when placed on a wall.
